The brief was to design a covered walkway that would connect the school block, student hostels and sports hall. I designed a walkway that not only connected people, but also the visual elements of the three distinctive buildings. The curved form of the school block informed the shape of the walkway, the tiles on the floor were inspired by the facade of the hostel, and the triangular panels on the roof are inspired by the panels of the sports hall. Instead of using simple straight pillars, the triangular panels are carried through to create the V shape pillars that are both aesthetic and functional.
